At Bandaranaike International Airport, pull up your accommodation address and message your driver the exact spot where you're waiting. Check the airport's own current information for official taxi counters before you land.
If a train leg follows, keep the airport transfer and the rail journey as two separate steps. Check the departure station on your booking, leave slack for the transfer and store the train details so they open without a signal. A landing time is not a guarantee you'll make a specific departure.

Sri Lanka Railways runs an official online seat-reservation service. Before you plan a hill-country train out of Kandy, check the real travel date and what's actually available. A line on a map doesn't mean you hold a reserved seat.
